Mark and Shayne Fixari founded Fixari Family Dental in the fall of 1987 with a vision to change the perception of a typical dental office. This compassionate approach brings many of their patients from far away.

Dr. Mark's passion for the artistic aspect of life-changing cosmetic dentistry is fueled by unending energy for continuing education.

Dr. Shayne loves to give our young and old patients special attention in a very caring, empathetic environment.

Having seven children of their own, they have created an atmosphere children and adults have come to really appreciate.

Dr. Rhonda Steigerwald began her association with the Fixaris in 1996 as a member of the staff. Now as one of the owners of Fixari Family Dental, she approaches the end of her second decade in dentistry. Her experience started in high school as a dental assistant, then more than ten years as a hygienist and finally as an exceptionally skilled, caring, compassionate doctor. Her special touch has created a truly loyal patient following. We invite anyone looking for an exceptional dentist to meet with our "Dr. Rhonda". Dr. Robert Bang has been a member of Fixari Family Dental for several years now.  He is an alumnus of The Ohio State University for both his undergraduate and doctorate degrees and spent an additional year there in a Oral Surgery Fellowship after graduating from dental school.  Dr. Bang is a member of the prestigious Central Ohio Study Club, which meets regularly to enrich the education and training of a select group of local dentists.  This unique opportunity provides him with over three times the amount of continuing education requirements needed by dentists to maintain licensure in Ohio.  Dr. Bang performs all aspects of dentistry, including cosmetic crowns and veneers, dentures, routine fillings and pain relief through comfortable root canal therapy and extractions.  Dr. Bang loves to create beautiful smiles and to bring his patients into optimal oral health.

Dr. Christina Kulesa joined Fixari Family Dental after completing her dental training at Case Western School of Dental Medicine, located in Cleveland, Ohio, where she graduated in the top of her class.  While attending dental schol, Dr. Christina was an active member of the American Student Dental Association.  She held several national leadership positions and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.  Dr. Christina performs many aspects of dentistry, including bonding, veneers, white fillings, crowns, and partial and complete dentures.  She has received advanced training in both Invisalign and Lumineers.  Dr. Christina's gentle touch and compassionate manner make her popular with both adults and children.  Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and their two daughters, Sophia and Stella.

Hamid Namazi, DDS, PhD is our "Persian Buckeye".  Dr. Namazi has made Columbus his home for over 25 years.  Twelve years of it in pursuit of education at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!), he will remain a student at heart.  He obtained his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Doctorate of Dentistry, and PhD all at OSU.  He also has earned a Certificate in Hospital Dentistry as well as winning a Fellowship in Dental Research from the VA Medical Center in Dayton.  He has won awards, held faculty positions in both research and teaching at OSU, and has published several articles and abstracts in referred journals such as Brain Research, Implant Dentistry, and the Journal of Dental Research.  Yet, his passion remains taking care of people.  He has served at Fixari Family Dental for nearly ten years and performs all aspects of General Dentistry. 

Dr. Jensen graduated from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1989 and completed post-graduated residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  He then became Associate Director of the Hospital's Dental Services and a member of the Medical & Teaching Staff.  He developed proficiency in oral surgery and I.V sedation during his years of training & practice at Miami Valley Hospital.  He now provides a surgery & sedation service for private dental offices in the Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati areas on a full-time basis.

Dr. Stephen Ondrey completed his dental education from The Ohio State University.  After graduation, he furthered his education and experience by completing a general practice residency program at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  While in the residency, he received his certification for conscious sedation.  Dr. Ondrey has been practicing in Dayton, Ohio for the past few years, but has relocated to Columbus to be closer to family.  Dr. Ondrey performs all aspects of general dentistry, which include tooth-colored fillings, veneers, root canals, extractions, and dentures.

Dr. Jeremy Thiel completed his dental education from The Ohio State University earning his undergraduate degree in dental hygiene and continuing on at the College of Dentistry to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.  While at Ohio State he had the privilege to be a member of The Ohio State University Marching Band, better known as TBDBITL.  He was also an active member in student government having served in various positions from class president to vice president of student government.  Dr. Thiel performs many aspects of dentistry including tooth-colored fillings, veneers, root canal therapy, CEREC crowns, partials and dentures.  Outside the office, Dr. Thiel enjoys spending time with his new bride Molly.
